NYC: Gucci opens children's only boutique

Gucci opened its first children's boutique on November 9, 2011 in New York City, which is strictly dedicated to Gucci couture for kids. The store was designed by Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini who made the 1,443 square foot space eco-friendly and kid-friendly with giant teddy bears arranged around the shopping area. At the grand opening of the boutique on Wednesday, adults and tykes alike were handed gold-foil balloons to mark the occasion. Wares on display include party dresses, winter wear, jewelry, leather goods, and onesies for babies, toddlers, and children up to 8 years of age.
