The Beijing Cartoon and Arts Museum
The Beijing Cartoon and Arts Museum in Sanjianfang town in Chaoyang District opened to the public last week in a space which spans 3000 square meters on two floors of the Zhuanli Building. The new museum showcases the history and evolution of cartoons and animation with exhibits which feature first silhouette animation, the first color animation, cartoon heroes from Chinese comics, and more. To attract an international audience, the first floor also houses a Barbie doll collection.
